Types of Pizza Around The World! Must try!

Almost all the ages favour pizza. Still, dates go back to 1889 where flatbreads made out of flour garnished with tomato sauce and mozzarella were something that commoners would eat. Again, it became a dish for the wealthy after it was made for Queen Margherita who had it as a part of her meal. Later more toppings were added such as basil and mushrooms. As more and more of Italian immigrants started moving to the United States of America and other parts of the world, they took the recipe. The method kept evolving itself in the country it went to and became a favourite to people of all ages. Although there are dozens of types of pizza, here are a few types of pizza which are unique and authentic:

10 Types of Pizza Around The World

1. Chicago Pizza

Pizza is pizza prepared according to several different styles developed in Chicago. The most famous is the deep-dish pizza. The pan in which it is baked gives the pizza its characteristically high edge which provides ample space for large amounts of cheese and a chunky tomato sauce. Chicago-style pizza may be prepared in deep-dish style and as a stuffed pizza. Stuffed pizzas are often even more profound than deep-dish pizzas, but otherwise, it can be hard to see the difference until it is cut into.

2. New York Pizza

York-style pizza is pizza made with a characteristically large hand-tossed thin crust, often sold in wide slices to go. The crust is thick and crisp only along its edge, yet soft, light, and pliable enough beneath its toppings to be folded in half to eat. Traditional toppings are simply tomato sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese. With New York pizza comes different eating competition due to its big sizes. Such is a big fat boy pizza where folks can get a single slice that’s 30 inches across, with thin crust, and topped to perfection. If a person can finish a fat boy pizza of 30 inches, then there are 2 feet long pizza slices too. Fat boy pizza is for someone who loves pizza as much as Joey does and it’s just a slice so, you don’t have to share it too. And the secret to New York pizza is that it uses deck ovens that cook at extremely high temperatures and are often decades old. The idea is that like a good cast-iron skillet, the oven absorbs the decades’ worth of cheese and sauce vapour into its walls and then imparts it onto new pizzas that are cooked.
